Perspectivas mesiánicas sobre la Pascua

World Net Daily (WND) me envió un correo electrónico con el asunto: Todo lo que necesita saber sobre Pesaj . El correo electrónico, en cambio, era en realidad solo un anuncio de un libro de Mark Biltz sobre los Días Santos. Tanto WND como Mark Blitz podrían describirse como mesiánicos.
Si bien me alegro de que WND y Mark Biltz crean que los cristianos deben guardar los Días Santos bíblicos, son supuestos en los que no tengo mucha confianza teológica.
Los lectores habituales de esta página probablemente lo recuerden, ya que a menudo denuncié la posición de Mark Blitz sobre las lunas de sangre, el eclipse solar de 2017, la ‘súper luna de sangre azul’ de 2018 y 2019 y otros asuntos (ver Lunas de sangre, eclipses y profecía http://www.cogwriter.com/blood-moons-prophecy.htm).

Entonces, ¿por qué mencionar algo sobre Mark Biltz ahora?
Bueno, básicamente por dos razones.
Primero, algunos falsamente creen que si alguien promueve el Sabbath o los Días Santos bíblicos, ellos son líderes creíbles. Ese simplemente no es el caso. Los auto-denominados Judís Mesiánicos como Mark Biltz malentienden mucho acerca de la historia de la iglesia, la doctrina, y la profecía (ver Las creencias de los judíos mesiánicos difieren de la Continuación de la Iglesia de Dios http://www.cogwriter.com/messianic-jews.htm).

Biltz enfatiza que estas fiestas, descritas en Levítico, no fueron concebidas sólo para el pueblo judío. Ellas son referidas repetidamente en la Biblia como “las fiestas del Señor” – queriendo significar que ellas son para todas las personas. Ellas han de ser observadas también para servir como señales de los tiempos en los cuales vivimos nosotros – recordatorios de los mayores eventos del pasado y anticipos del futuro por venir.
Biltz dice que gran parte de la iglesia está dormida – inconsciente del significado de las fiestas en el santo reloj de tiempo de Dios. Las fiestas no fueron concebidas para ser abandonadas por los creyentes tras la venida de Jesús. Sus seguidores las observaron en el Siglo Primero. Es tiempo de redescubrirlas de nuevo puesto que la hora de Su retorno se aproxima.
Es verdad que los Días Santos bíblicos deberían ser guardados por los cristianos, que los primeros cristianos las guardaron, y que ellas tienen lecciones para nosotros. En cuanto hace a la Pascua, Jesús y Sus discípulos la guardaron, como lo hicieron todos los primeros verdaderos cristianos. Los Protestantes y Católicos dicen guardarla de alguna manera, pero ellos no la guardan en la misma forma o en el mismo tiempo que lo hicieron los primeros cristianos.
